Our 2015 BARBECUE IN THE WOODS  was held on Saturday, OCTOBER 10, 2015.
We thank our Volunteers, Museum Staff and Sponsors for the best supported Barbecue in the Woods event since the Youth Museum was opened 45 years ago.
It was a great evening with music by The Hunger Valley String Band, Sam Huff's famous barbecue and the bidding on the many items in our silent auction. Both adults and children enjoyed the Lego-building activity.
It was an event to remember.

Watch this site in the early summer 2016 for the details about our 2016 Barbecue in the Woods event.

We have two new ways that donations can be made in support of the Youth Museum. We always appreciate your support.

NEW Youth Museum Donation Opportunities

Thru the Georgia Gives Day website:

Donations may be made at anytime by clicking on the link below and following the prompts. We may have a special day later in the year, however, that day serves as the online equivalent of a “telethon” when donors are encouraged to “donate to the nonprofit that means the most to you.” You do not need to wait for the special day. For more information on the program or to donate, click on the link below:
